- FeaturelessBug 4y agoAh yes, my children being slaughtered in a school by a gunman while I stand outside listening to their screams and cries. "Fun and games". It's a horrible situation that no one should have to be in- but this is the nightmare scenario that our policies have created and sustained.
- olliej 4y agoI think more importantly - other than the whole "police who receive expensive gear and training stand around for an hour letting someone run around killing children" of course - is that the police have now explicitly threatened this woman with criminal charges if she keeps talking about how they stopped her going in after her children - again, while they stood around letting them get murdered. Luckily as the police chief said, none of the officers were injured, and they can investigate their actions once the parents "get over it".
- FeaturelessBug 4y agoI agree with you completely. The demand of silence under threat of criminal charges and total disregard of very real concerns over the actions of the police in this case combined with a lack of serious internal investigation is indicative of at best responsibility not being taken by the Uvaldi force and at worse a cover up.
- rasz 4y agoNot all of them stood outside. This guarding of the shooter makes me very suspicious. Wont be surprised if it turns out some Police went in immediately and by accident shot some children themselves thus a coverup.
