Apple Music on Mac shifted from web views to native sometime in the last eighteen months, I think.
- galad87 4y agoThey did, but the new native views are quite buggy, so while it uses less memory, the user experience improvement was minimal. Apple should really stop shipping such buggy softwares.
- senojsitruc 4y agoI wonder if they had to use SwiftUI.
- galad87 4y agoNo, it's mainly a complex NSCollectionView.
- zwily 4y agoIt hasn’t switched yet. Hopefully this year.
- galad87 4y agoThey did in macOS 12.2.
- whywhywhywhy 4y agoUI became painful to use when they switched from unfurling the albums in situ to going to another screen where you have to click back.
