Ruby and R and both have amazing interactive debuggers: binding.pry and browser() respectively, and I use them all the time (never print statements). So I don't understand the significance of PG's tweet; do other languages have less-good debuggers, and hence people get stuck using print statements? Or have I missed his point entirely?
