Ryanair is also a relatively young company compared to other air companies, and flights are mostly within Europe, not inter continents. I took a Ryanair plane once, that plane was a complete wreck and I thought I'd die. No more. And all things considered they aren't even that cheap since they often fly from remote airports in the middle of nowhere, so you need to get there first, wasting money and time.
