One of the things I love about the way Eons cover topics is how they don't just focus on what we know, but also how we know, who figured things out, and what we got wrong along the way.
Can't endorse their style of science journalism enough.
- animal_spirits 4y agoPBS has been putting out such great content in the last 5 years. Really impressive and highly overlooked
- rdedev 4y agoPBS space time is another good channel. Their series on general theory of relativity is really nice. They try to explain it as close as possible to the real thing but still make it accessible without resorting to innacurate analogies
- kuprel 4y agoThe US and World history series are great too
- throwaway894345 4y agoI haven’t seen Eons. I’ve felt like the quality on Nova and Nature has slipped though. Glad other programs are picking up the slack.
- optimalsolver 4y agoEons and Spacetime are YouTube shows from their digital team, which might explain the difference.
- adgjlsfhk1 4y agoit's a shame they killed "infinite series" it was one of the best math YouTube channels out there
- r930 4y agoAnton Petrov did a nice video on the subject also: https://youtu.be/tWq3IrO9K3U https://youtu.be/tWq3IrO9K3U
