- WalterGR 4y agoInteresting. How does it work? Like, what's going on in that screen capture? Never having used iTerm2, I'm not familiar with what appears to be: launching a new terminal window which, after some input, then 'communicates' information to the prior terminal window.
- kissge 4y agoThanks! Launch a new window, and write back to the parent -- all the magics here are AppleScript. iTerm2 implements "write text" interface for AppleScript, which can be used like 'tell application "iTerm2" to tell session to write text "foo"'.
