My parents-in-law own a late-model VW. It’s not my car, but I drive it regularly when we visit. Despite limited use, in the last year or so I’ve had 3 phantom braking incidents - one with my son in the car that almost resulted in an actual collision with another vehicle. I hate this car so much. I cannot believe that VW thinks this junk technology is a good idea and I will never, ever buy a VW.
