I am going to the point of avoiding Windows 11 by going with Ubuntu and WINE. No Windows license required.
I have a Windows 7 Pro upgraded to Windows 10 Pro that locked activation to my hardware and has no valid CD-Key. Later on the CD-Key became the Windows 7 key, but I activated it before Windows 10 did that.
