- throwaway_1928 4y agoIn the same manner as the Europeans have already done repeatedly in history?
- DSingularity 4y agoMy statement was on the present and in no way an easy-vs-west value judgement. Everyone knows that the European colonialism and the ongoing neocolonialist story are pure evil.
- throwaway_1928 4y agoA rational person would fear those with a long history of reckless violence a lot more than those with a marked history of non violence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahimsa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahimsa
- int_19h 4y agoThis is like a European pointing at the Bible and saying, "see, our holy book preaches non-violence, don't believe the naysayers!" Meanwhile, how many Muslim pogroms have there been in India since independence?
- throwaway_1928 4y agoIslam conquered and ruled India by the sword. Similar to how Europeans conquered many 'western' lands today. Islam and Europe are then quite similar to each other and quite dissimilar from India in their lust to conquer and subjugate and their generous use of violence.
- int_19h 4y agoAre you saying that the historical Islamic conquests of India justify violence against Muslims today?
- throwaway_1928 4y agoNo I am saying Hinduism is default peaceful and your 'pogroms against Muslims' narrative is misinformed.
