So, situations can vary but hiring committee results are valid for a year. The wildcard is how lazy or vindictive your recruiter is.
It might actually be worth explaining the situation, and asking to start team match after the new year. I don’t know their policy, but they might be willing to compensate you with a higher on hire bonus to get you to quit.
- lifeplusplus 4y agoi think my recruiter might be the laziest human being on earth, only hear once a month and only after asking about an update and it's clear they don't remember the info they told me last time or wrote down what they have told me because they are just repeating what they had already told me and explaining things that were already explained.
- wombat-man 4y agoI guess just write to them and ask for what you want. Give a specific number for the sign on bonus and explain its because you lose this other bonus. They may say no.
