Microsoft Privacy Statement – Windows
- red369 4y agoOf course, I had never read Microsoft's Privacy Statement in full, but I've just stumbled upon the sentence in the Windows section which I interpreted as saying that Windows should no longer be considered as completely residing on your device: "Rather than residing as a static software program on your device, key components of Windows are cloud-based, and both cloud and local elements of Windows are updated regularly, providing you with the latest improvements and features."
