Lack of player generated content also killed it for me. My friends and I spent 1000s of hours playing custom CS and Warcraft III maps. And then 100s of hours playing custom Portal maps. Feels like there is nothing comparable to this today.
Feels bad.
- the_only_law 4y agoThe one thing I was disappointed in with the AoE3 remaster was the old multiplayer, player created scenarios were not compatible and frankly you just don’t see many custom scenario games anymore. Some were quite fun.
