Pioneer Space Sim - https://pioneerspacesim.net/ https://pioneerspacesim.net/ This is an Open-Source remake of Frontier Elite 2 AND Frontier First Encounters. I only discovered this game a few months ago and only put of a couple of hours into the game so far. For me it takes the best bits of both FE2 and FFE, modernises the UI, improves on the graphics (some of the developers were GL/D3D mod developers of Elite - Frontier). It manages to keep the essential ingredients that made FE2 good and picking out the few extra nice bits from FFE.
