I agree with his parents and mentor: line up the next one before you drop this one. Source: me doing dumb stuff in the past, nothing to the tune of ditching nearly half a million dollars a year or anything, but I would hope the OP had significant savings, you don’t have the same capacity to abuse your body sitting in a chair after a couple decades or so…
