The theory that Putin will go from a "Special Military Operation" to launching nukes seems extremely remote. Besides, is he willing to armageddon his country because some country sent Ukraine long range missile launchers (which some folks are concerned about)? That seems a bit off the rails in terms of foreign policy theory. I cannot see how he would ever hurl nukes as long as his invasion is making progress. Now is the perfect time to load up Ukraine with the weapons it needs to eventually drive back Russia to it's internationally recognized borders, despite Moscow's blustering and bullying.
