SEEKING WORK | Glasgow, Scotland/UK | Remote I am a bioinformatician with eight years of experience in academic and commercial settings. I take projects in the areas of data science, big data engineering, and machine learning - for example, I can help you set up data processing pipelines, increase reliability of your workflows, or visualise patterns in your data. If your project involves a complex problem domain, large quantities of data, or complicated chains of computation, I will probably be a good fit for it - I am usually blessed with all three. I have a Masters degree in mathematics and a multidisciplinary background with experience in computer science, biology, and genomics. Areas of bioinformatics I previously worked in include genome assembly and annotation, RNASeq analysis, and metagenomics.
