I don't mind the rebranding insomuch as unifying the product and making things cohesive visually. What I'm not a fan of is how Proton succumbed to the "bleach white and minimalist" school of thought that has been raging for over a decade. There is a dark mode, yes, and I've been using it as an alternative. But even the "classic" theme looks like an overexposed photograph - why must everything not explicitly dark be so white and bright?
