I really wish there was a reasonable—like, less than 75 years from now—copyright expiration date for things like ROMs. Apple doesn’t make a dime from Newtons these days, so it’s not like they care if someone wants to run Newton OS on Linux. Same for the companies that made retro game ROMs—a lot of them don’t even exist anymore. It’s just silly.
