I think for that it's somewhat less critical, since it's a somewhat less common usecase to take this whole benchmark table and somehow continue data analysis on that. But for things like atomic data or various model setups that you do want to use in your code/your work that's based on the previous paper, having a machine-readable version is a huge time-saver.
