- Spivak 4y agoBut the labor shortage that this is taking about isn’t about qualified people, it’s about a shortage of people willing to work for given (low) price. There is no solution to this shortage other than simply subsidizing the cost of labor that does not increase human suffering. Because the only thing that will make someone more wiling to accept shit wages is desperation.
