"User denied the request for Geolocation."
Would it be easy to make this tool work for people who don't want to mess around with browser settings? Or would it be easier for me to learn how to tell the browser where I am?
- mattgibson 4y agoIP geolocation is horribly inaccurate in my area. Why not let the user specify where they are manually?
- mkl 4y agoYes, it definitely needs a fallback for browsers that have no idea where they are. That would also make "Find Wikipedia photos needed near where you are going to be" possible. Edit: The search icon more or less works, but just showing a navigable map would make much more sense.
- caymanjim 4y agoIt needs a manual entry method. In the US, I'd use zip codes. Lat/lon would work anywhere. I don't share my location except under duress.
