In a way, I’m glad they as a company look like they’ll be upfront about the conditions if you apply for a role.
I left the last company I worked for due to a number of factors, most obviously though was an office move out of the city and into the suburbs. In many cases this would be great, but with the way Sydney is configured with transit, if you’re on the ‘other’ side of the city, it would mean a journey all the way through and back out to get there, doubling the transit time, which coupled with a forced return to office contrary to the ‘flexible’ employment described in the contract was just a non-starter.
So, while I understand why people would rather WFH became permanent, at least it seems Tesla will be upfront about that not being how they work.
