overcomplication? lol
to that; mozilla's answer was to raise the salary of their CEO and fire the firefox development team?
rebrand Mullvad VPN and act like it's their own self made product?
spreading their propaganda for privacy, while at the same time selling their userbase to both Google and Pocket?
competition lost their users because their product is bad, and the direction they are taking doesn't appeal to the users, as simple as that
i tried firefox again last week, i was welcome by a plethora of slow dialogues about colors and stuff, and a huge address bar
"100 Thank-Yous
It’s our 100th release! Thanks for being a part of our community. Keep Firefox one click away for the next 100."
and it was super slow to boot
even if i was paid to use firefox, i'd still choose chromium

- Shadonototra 4y agoi was an Opera user (presto days), i quit the day you announced moving to chromium and killing presto what i said about firefox apply to opera too, your decision to move to chromium meant you gave up, and lost the reason why you had users in the first place, users doesn't care about technical difficulties mobile was a different story with apple, unfortunately using the "complex web standard" card is too easy, since moving to chromium didn't help increase userbase, not even for Edge and just being different doesn't help either, look at firefox poorly managed company, google money poorly used/allocated, on top of poor marketing opera browser (presto) was the best browser, i remember novel features like web compression to help mobile users save bandwidth.. i wish it could come back and focus on what matter
