I thought China's digital currency was Bitcoin? Or was it Monero? I was confused why folks think the latter is "anonymous" when at least in my city, there was for a period only one Monero ATM in the near-ish area... possibly the entire county if I remember correctly. I worry folks having these discussions on matters at the intersection of technology, policy, and economics often ignore the human in the loop, who may not care how much math says what we should or should not "know".
