Matt Parker attempted to run dozens of random Python scripts on his LED Christmas tree. Python is notoriously bad for repeatable builds. Evidently most people don't even bother to write down their dependencies in a pip requirements.txt file. Or Matt doesn't know how to use one. Or both. There's a good reason he began the LED challenge by limiting the third party libraries to just a few specific, well known frameworks. I don't think he indicated any particular version (of the frameworks or of Python).
It's 2022 and there are still broken widgets that target 2.x. I believe the Doge guy when he says Musk can't even run Python code due to his ineptitude. I also believe Python is a gamble.
