Most of these come down to "don't be an asshole". I suppose it's worthwhile to remind people that a large part of engineering is dealing with people, and not being an asshole tends to be a force multiplier (or stated differently being an asshole gets people to actively sabotage your efforts). It reads so much like the "casual" vs. "hardcore / tryhard" memes you'd find in gaming communities.
