Sounds like the plot from the movie "Safe" (Todd Haynes, 1995). But a bit off-topic, do doctors recognize MCS as a legitimate illness? I see in the article that multiple doctors backed these patients, encouraging the Canadian gov. to come up with a solution. But I guess with the insane real-estate prices over there, it's tough to find anything that isn't very old for a decent price.
