I wouldn’t really recommend Berkeley Physics series to self-learners. Without a teacher's help, it would be really difficult. I don't think it is impossible.

- andi999 4y agoGenerally I agree, but the first volume is good, and the most verbose/illustrated treatment of special relativity I have seen so far.
