You’ve built quite an edifice on top of your assumption, but you haven’t actually tested that assumption yet. I think you need to be a lot less certain about your conclusions, since you have no experimental evidence. In fact, you are ignoring quite a lot of experimental evidence as well, which suggests that you like your new idea so much that you are willing to assume that everyone else is blind.
- ohiovr 4y agoThere is no proof of dark matter which nasa is quite fond of stating as literal fact without any experimental proof, or measurement. When I win the lottery which I don't play I'll be sure to make my experiment with liquid hydrogen. Hopefully I don't blow myself up in the process. Even at a winnings of a million dollars I may get closer to unlocking the secret of gravity than the large dadron collider ever will with tens of billions behind it.
- db48x 4y agoNo, there is no experimental proof of dark matter, only puzzling measurements of distant galaxies. Plenty of scientists are looking for alternative explanations, as well as trying to detect dark matter directly. They’ve got some wacky ideas, but none as wacky as your idea that only neutrons have mass.
