Just bought a Gogoro in Taiwan (VIVA MIX BELT), and it's pretty neat. The range is not as awesome as I've expected (~70km), but for around-the-town commute it's excellent (this first swap lasted almost 2 week of small trips almost every day). The biggest thing to get used to is that the riding costs are now subscription-based to a large extent (and can't get one of these scooters without a subscription, even if you were charging things at home). The riding cost adds up definitely higher than the previous "gas" scooter.
But at least I feel better about the environment, and given that around us it's getting to ~10% of scooters becoming electric (mostly Gogoro, but not exclusively), I'm hoping for some air quality improvements as well.
Would have some words about the design too, and their management app is pretty crap in many ways, but I wouldn't really go back to the old ICE scooters, max switch to another electric one in the future.
