  No, however heating is $200 if electrical. But I work from home, so it's always on high temps, unlike for most people. Also, that's still far from $600, that's not anymore "preventing your food to spoil", and that's only a few months a year. A/C as well, you don't usually use it in december in most parts of the US. So yeah, I find this number surprising for a very rich country that should have great infrastructures.
