I'm not getting your point with these questions. Someone who is a victim of an assault may be "on guard" or "hyper-vigilant" for some time afterward. I can remember such an instance in my own life after I was robbed at gunpoint in a foreign country.
Someone who is a victim of repeated assaults during childhood is very likely to tend toward hyper-vigilance their entire lifetime (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complex_post-traumatic_stress_disorder https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complex_post-traumatic_stress_...) but that's not me.
