Short sellers are essentially naysayers, if you don't have means to shut them up via financial results then you better quit. As a CEO you should be able to find whaterver it is that you need to shut them up via results in the market of your product/service, especially revenue growth and Free cash flow . The stock is not the company and the company is not the stock. If you ever believe this just for one moment then you'd be better off stepping down and enter politics.
