I've recently been looking at collimated displays, they're used by flight sim users to improve immersion in game. They use a large fresnel lens in front of their monitor in order to collimate the light. For their purpose it adds a perception of depth to the viewed image. However, they also claim there is a natural relaxing of the eyes, which adds to the immersion. I wonder if such a display would work in an office environement. A quick look for any literature came up blank.
