- adastra22 4y agoThe article leads with Tesla using portable diesel generators to power superchargers on a holiday weekend to meet demand at an essential stopping point between LA and SF—essential because Teslas lack the range to make that trip without recharging. What were they supposed to do, strand their customers in the middle of the Central Valley because demand that weekend exceeded normal capacity? “Hahahaha enjoy Bakersfield, suckers!” Elon has done some dumb and insensitive things, but this article is a hit piece.
