It would be really cool if there was an android app that could identify the characteristics of a USB-c cable plugged into a phone, I could then write a label to stick to the cable for future reference.
- rektide 4y agoIt's also actively hostile, imo, that phones & laptops wont tell you things like the charge rate or voltage they're charging at. The desire to make things simple for consumers has run amok & utterly obstructed there being a path to letting consumer who want to know figure out how things are behaving.
