- thimkerbell 4y agoIs there a way to message another HN user, to be able to communicate without it being public but also without giving the world your email address?

- Wonnk13 4y agoNo there's no "DMs" on HN as far as I know. I was tempted to add my mobile number, but being the public internet and all probably not the wisest choice.
- pastage 4y agoBeen there the last 30 months, then because of that work stopped being fun. Now taking a time out, work gives me as much leave as I need, family/personal is harder to take vacation from. Sometimes you have to.
- dbrueck 4y agoSo sorry to hear that. Hang in there! I know I'm just some rando on the internet, but if you need a listening ear, shoot me a note, as I'd be more than happy to chat - sometimes just talking things over with someone has really helped me a lot.
