Are You More Likely to Be Killed Riding a Bike Than Driving a Car?
- Gravityloss 4y agoCars have some new features to save pedestrians and bicyclists. And more are coming. But yes, infrastructure plays a very big role. I think Helsinki had 1 dead bicyclist last year and none in 2020. The last death was a truck completely breaking traffic rules and it was all over the news. - LinuxBender 4y agoI would prefer a chart with per-capita representation which surely must exist. I am hesitant to push family members towards using a bike as they will be on the highway for some distance. My state scored a solid D on the BFS report card. I would love to have an e-bike. The batteries and motors have improved a lot recently.
