For the most part, negativity dominates daily thoughts because our society is in decline, and so everything is always getting worse.
- rektide 4y agoIm less possessed by averages and general trends. If there are enclaves of stability & growth & positivity, thay can be enough. But the squeeze is on. Those who are "making it" do so not by noble & good & public causes, but by bring better ur-Capitalists than the rest, to little good effect. We just need a couple positive feedback cycles to begin. All the cycles are gummed the frak up. Society has so few worthwhile examples about left. Everyone earning a living disappears deep into a corner of some deep massive org chart, lives some strange particular megacorp life.
