We could maybe do this with todays technology already - solar powered desalination plants.
There are plenty of desert coastlines.
Not sure how much that would cost per square meter of forest/agriculture, tbh.
- bobthepanda 4y agoThe appeal of relying on nature is that if the conditions are right, nature becomes a self sustaining, nearly zero maintenance solution. Solar powered desal is pretty expensive.
