I use vscode on debian in my startup for .NET development. My experience has been great, but I get the feeling that since WSL2/Docker are available for Windows that there aren't many people like me outside of hobbyists. A lot of bigger companies want to use things like applocker to secure any machine inside their network, which makes linux problematic.
