- beefok 4y agoI've never used the cleaning stuff they are talking about that would damage the foam, but just in case, I've placed a filter[1] in the tubing. It actually makes breathing with it a bit harder -- which is kind of stupid of me to do, considering the CPAP is made to make breathing easier. But I'm only doing this because I fear the thought of just inhaling toxic fumes every night.
