- gertrunde 4y agoI've no idea how well the Symantec acquisition worked for Broadcom, but it was particularly painful for anyone using Symantec products. The ordering/renewal process was so messed up by the transition that for approximately 18 months it was almost impossible to get a quote or place an order, even to renew an existing subscription, long enough that Symantec started just giving out subscription extensions to tide people over until the order process worked again.
