I disagree. People won't switch from cars to bikes from two reasons:
1) They don't want to be exposed to elements.
2) They want to have some kind of protection during accident.

- geophile 4y agoI agree completely. I live in a very bike-friendly American city, and there are still lots of deaths and horrible injuries. People still bike, sometimes with kids in tow. Electric bikes are increasingly prevalent. I also notice that e-bikes are becoming more popular for delivery people in New York City. Hard to see how those people could do there jobs as efficiently with cars. Bike-sized powered transport has undeniable advantages over car-sized vehicles: access, cost, climate-friendlier. And younger generations are less enamored of cars. I can’t see how e-bikes don’t win in a generation.
