Hard disagree. Solving business problems is a "real skill" regardless of whether you're spending a week writing custom code which has to be maintained or gluing services together over the course of a day. Developers who don't have low code tools in their toolbox are going to be less efficient than those who do. Not every problem is a nail.

- tstrimple 4y agoThe promise of no-code isn't to replace developers, but to lower the bar to a point where you don't need a senior engineering rockstar to solve business problems. None of the low-code solutions I'm familiar with advertise themselves as a way to get rid of your developers. It's all about reducing the complexity you're responsible for and delivering solutions more quickly.
