Highly anecdotal story: a guy I know went to work for Palantir as a sales PM and his TC was in the low GBP 200k. He was a lousy developer with mediocre understanding of technologies but could really smooth talk. I would not be surprised if PLTR is full of people like him.
- jchonphoenix 4y agoHe's a sales PM though. Is this not exactly what you want? Smooth talking will close deals. Good development doesn't need to happen at the customer site in a sales meeting.
