Who had money on Samsung and Red Hat joining forces on next-gen memory software?
- jamal-kumar 4y agoSamsung has an interesting history of investment in Linux projects. They threw a lot of money at the enlightenment window manager a while ago in hopes they'd do something cool with it, for example.
- fomine3 4y agoThey are also big on mobile Linux area because they make Galaxy and Exynos. I wonder how much each division on Samsung (like Mobile, Storage, ...) related. Ah, Joyent was bought by Samsung.
- ksaj 4y agoSuse would have made a viable contender as well. But yea, Red Hat is very much in the pocket all along.
