Once I got into the habit of typing the corresponding closing entity (quote, paren, backtick, whatever) immediately after typing the opening one, and _then_ coming back to fill in the data in the enclosure, most of my syntax errors disappeared. It's surprising how many professional devs don't have this habit. I learned it pairing one day.
