Really sharp and succinct.
- rektide 4y agoIt's wild to me how angry/off-put/disdainful people have become that society wants to do good & hold ourselves to standards of decency. It's insult after insult after insult, that society is trying to do good. There's not an iota or respect or a middle-view presented. It's a polemic slash and burn attitude that wokeness is all bad, all of it is a horrible sign, and everyone trying to do good is actually the problem & are dumb sheep. Generally I think you'll find woke people far better able to say, "we don't know" and "we're not sure". This ability to see things from different sides, is, to me, a basic essential of civilization & the sign of a confident mind.
