Billionaires will always get away with anything until the SEC, DOJ and FBI are stuffed with people who genuinely hate them. It's only fair to counterbalance their massive economic power and the ability to buy and corrupt everybody. In order to counterbalance the bias that they can buy with their money there has to be a genuine bias against them among those who hold the levers of power.
